This page explains the clock controls, setup fields, codes, payout display, structure editor, image/sound options, and public-view behaviour.
Main screen
- Mode pill
- Shows whether the page is in Edit mode or Public read-only mode.
- Joystick
- Opens the clock control tiles for level changes, timer adjustments, pause/resume, and progress reset.
- Structure icon
- Opens the blind structure editor.
- Cog
- Opens Tournament Setup. Hidden in public mode and in fullscreen.
- Create Codes
- Creates an Edit Code and Public Code when no code is loaded. Once created, changes auto-sync to the Edit Code.
- Reset
- Starts a fresh local clock and clears the currently loaded code from this browser.
- ?
- Opens this Help overlay.
- Pay Outs
- Shows configured payouts when Show payouts is enabled. The Info block below Pay Outs shows the configured prize pool, Players shows Remaining/Entries, Total chips in play uses (Entries + Rebuys) × Stack, and Average stack shows total chips divided by Remaining plus the current BB multiple.
- Public page QR
- Appears after codes are created and points spectators to the public read-only clock.
Clock controls
- Start/Resume
- Starts the current level or resumes from pause.
- Pause
- Stops the timer at the current remaining time.
- Previous
- Moves back one structure row and resets that row to its full duration.
- Next
- Moves forward one structure row and starts it at its full duration.
- Reset Level
- Restores the current level or break to its configured duration.
- Total Reset
- Resets to Level 1, clears entries and rebuys, and leaves setup, structure, and codes in place.
- -2m / -1m / +1m / +2m
- Adjusts the current timer by the selected number of minutes.
- Register / Rebuy / Bust
- Quick count buttons for fast player updates. Register adds one entry and one remaining player, Rebuy adds one rebuy, and Bust subtracts one remaining player.
- Fullscreen
- Expands the clock layout to the available screen area.
Tournament setup
- Tournament Name
- Sets the heading shown on the clock and public page.
- Entries
- Number of entries used for prize-pool calculation. Defaults to 0 when no code is loaded.
- Rebuys
- Tracks the number of rebuys. The quick Rebuy button adds one here when an edit code is active.
- Remaining
- Tracks players still in. The quick Register button adds one and the quick Bust button subtracts one.
- Prize
- Prize component of the buy-in. Used by Entries × Prize.
- Fee
- Fee component of the buy-in. It is shown for clarity but not added to the prize pool.
- Total
- Read-only total of Prize plus Fee.
- Prize Pool
- Total amount to distribute across paid places.
- Paid Places
- How many places should appear in the payout list/editor.
- Stack
- Optional starting stack reference for this clock setup.
- Show payouts
- Controls whether payouts are visible on the main/public display. Off is red; on is green.
- Show left column
- Controls whether the left payout panel is visible.
- Show right column
- Controls whether the right structure panel is visible.
Payout editor
- Payout Editor
- Edit each payout amount directly. Values save when you leave the field or click away.
- Place label
- The displayed finishing position, such as 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
- Amount
- The amount shown for that place in the payout list.
- Show payouts off
- Keeps payout amounts hidden until registration and rebuys are closed.
Background and sound
- Background Image
- Uploads an image used behind the whole page/clock. The image URL is saved with the short code.
- Remove Background Image
- Clears the background from the clock and attempts to delete the uploaded image file.
- Show borders
- Controls whether panel, card, table, input, and button border lines are visible. Off hides borders while keeping the same layout spacing.
- Level End Sound
- Selects the audio file played when a level ends.
- Test Sound
- Unlocks browser audio and plays the selected level-end sound.
Codes and sharing
- Edit Code
- The private code used to reopen and continue editing the same clock.
- Public Code
- The read-only code for spectators. It cannot be edited from the public page.
- Public Link
- Direct link to the public read-only clock.
- Copy icon
- Copies the public URL to the clipboard.
- Open Edit Code
- Loads an existing Edit Code. Public codes are rejected here because they are read-only.
- Offline Backup Code
- Optional long backup that does not require the database.
Blind structure editor
- Add Level
- Adds a new playable blind level.
- Add Break
- Adds a break row with no blinds or ante.
- Type
- Sets the row as a playable level or a break.
- Name
- Custom label for the row. Playable rows are numbered automatically on the display.
- Minutes
- Duration of the level or break.
- Small / Big / Ante
- Blind and ante values used for playable levels. Break rows ignore these fields.
- Move up / down
- Reorders rows in the structure.
- Delete
- Removes the selected row.
Public view and display
- Public mode
- Loads from a Public Code and prevents editing, saving, reset, and structure changes.
- Structure column
- Shows the active and upcoming structure rows, with the current row highlighted.
- Break rows
- Display as break cards and show no blind/ante values.
- Credit link
- The Quean Poker logo/text opens q-p.net.au in a new tab.
